These plugs are designed to fit the inner diameter of our "half die" orifice (02001268) and our standard orifice (02001031) and will keep your test material in the bore until the preheat time expires. Insert the plug into the orifice from the bottom of the furnace prior to charging the cylinder. Recommended for customers testing ASTM D1238 Procedure C and materials with a high melt flow.
